*Technical Evaluation Deposit:

$45 is required for each component or set of speakers, once the service evaluation is approved it will be credited towards the final invoice.

Once your registration info is received, we'll send you a confirmation of your request.

An email will be sent 1-2 weeks prior to your appointment notifying you to drop off your equipment.​​

The following supersedes ALL previous rates, terms and conditions: Tech Hifi reserves the right to change these terms without notice:

Mark Acoustics Lab Service and Restoration Rate: $85.00 per hour*; Returned Check Fee: $25.00

Technical Service Evaluation: $45.00 per component individually, speaker or pair is required upon delivery to the Mark Acoustics Lab. Once the technical evaluation has been performed, it is not refundable; when service invoice has been approved it will be applied to the balance of the invoice.

Lab Materials Fee: $5.00 will automatically be applied to the service invoice to cover cost of lab materials (i.e. specialized cleaners, lubricants, paints, lint free wipes and swabs) higher exceptions may apply. 


Product Layaway: 25% deposit and paid in full within 30 days. 

Special Orders: Paid in full at time of order and must be picked up within 7 business days; Non-stocked items are not returnable. 

Equipment Consignment: Tech Hifi will consign "select" components providing they are serviced and restored to our stringent requirements. Customer is responsible for payment of parts and labor prior to consignment for sale. Further requirements may apply. 

The "Tech Hifi Performance Warranty": 

Serviced and/or Evaluation components: must be picked up within 14 business days of completion and notification of customer, After 90 days equipment is considered abandoned and will become property of Tech Hifi or until such time storage fees may be applied. No equipment will be released to the customer prior to payment of any outstanding invoice balance and signoff.

New Equipment: Full manufacturer’s warranty, terms and conditions applies. Consult supplied documentation for details. New equipment warranties or service is supplied by the respective manufacturer. We will meet or exceed all “Authorized Dealer” published pricing. We do not honor any “Unauthorized Dealers, 3rd Party or auction site” pricing.

Product Returns or Exchanges: for a full refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase; exceptions may apply. Equipment must be in “new or as received” condition and contain box, all packing materials, warranty cards, supplied documentation, manuals, remote control(s) and all accessories. Restocking fee or missing item fee may apply.

Vinyl Records or Compact Discs: New- exchange for same title, if ‘NLA’ store credit only. Used- exchange for same title or store credit only.

"R.A.O or Restored as Originaltm" components: Tech Hifi warranties all parts and labor for a period of 90 days from date of customer pickup and reserve the right to repair as required or exchange / upgrade for equivalent make and model. Exemptions apply: Please ask for details due to highly limited stock availability of vintage audio components. ALL packing materials, supplied documentation and accessories must be returned at time of exchange. Exceptions and/or additional charges may apply. 

Warranty will be "Void" from physical, electrical or misuse of equipment per manufacturer or opinion of the Mark Acoustics Lab. Speaker driver(s) warranty void for burned voice coils. 
Customer Equipment: Above applies except our warranty only applies to invoiced parts and service. 

Electrical parts, components custom cables of any type: cannot be returned, defective items may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase per opinion of the Mark Acoustics Lab.

Due to safety and liability issues: No one is allowed anywhere within Tech Hifi or the Mark Acoustics Lab, warehouse or office unless invited by and escorted by a Tech Hifi employee. We take everyone’s personal and equipment safety very serious; while on the premises Tech Hifi assumes ownership control until the invoice is paid prior to being released to the customer.

- jukeboxes
