Tech Hifi / Mark Acoustics Rates and Terms
Effective January 1, 2018:
We will be increasing our rates for the first time in over 7 years...
The following supersedes ALL previous rates, terms and conditions:
Technical Service Evaluation: $45.00 per component*
Mark Acoustics Lab Service and Restoration Rate: $85.00 per hour*
Lab Materials Fee: $5.00 will automatically be applied to the service invoice to cover cost of lab materials (i.e. Specialized cleaners, lubricants, paints, lint free wipes and swabs) higher exceptions may apply.
*Note: Serviced and/or Evaluation components must be picked up within 14 business days of completion and notification of customer. Storage fees may apply.
"Customer equipment in the service / restoration queue prior to 12/31/17 will be billed at 2017 rates."
Product Layaway: 20% deposit required and payments are required every two weeks. Maximum: 90 days.
Special Orders: 50% due at time of order and must be picked up within 7 business days; exclusions apply.
Equipment Consignment: Tech Hifi will consign "select" components providing they are serviced and restored to our stringent requirements. Customer is responsible for payment of parts and labor prior to consignment for sale.

The "Tech Hifi Performance Warranty":
New Equipment: Full manufacturer's warranty, terms and conditions applies. Consult supplied documentation for details.
Our "R.A.O or Restored as Original"tm components: Tech Hifi warranties all parts and labor for a period of 90 days from date of customer pickup and reserve the right to repair as required or exchange / upgrade for equivalent make and model. Exemptions apply; Please ask for details due to highly limited stock availability of vintage audio components. ALL packing materials, supplied documentation and accessories must be returned at time of exchange. Exceptions and/or additional charges may apply.
Warranty will be "Void" from physical, electrical or misuse of equipment per manufacturer or opinion of the Mark Acoustics Lab. Speaker driver(s) warranty void for burned voice coils. NO Exceptions!
Customer Equipment: Above applies except our warranty only applies to invoiced parts and service. NO Exceptions!
